“How long does it take to get a dress in?” Although we can rush dresses, in general you should plan to purchase your wedding dress 6-7 months before, and bridesmaids about 3-4 months before the wedding. This allows you time to get alterations completed and portraits made if you choose. If you have a situation please let us know so we can help you.
“Can I have my dress altered even if I purchased it at a different store?” Yes, as long as it is formal wear we can do alterations on any dresses.
“Have you ever redesigned heirloom wedding gowns?” Yes, that is one of our specialties. We love to help brides modernize and restore their families heirloom pieces. Whether it just making the dress fit temporarily or completely remaking the dress or veil we can help.
“What do I need for my alteration fittings?” Please bring your slip, bra, shoes and/or any other undergarments you plan to wear that day. Do not worry if you do not have these items. We also carry all of these products.
“Can I be measured for a different store?” If you are in a wedding out of town we will measure you. However, we will not give you the measurements only the store that the dresses are coming from. It must be a real store with a phone number. Internet companies are NOT allowed.
